Elena Digrande Farm is a family company, and the family farm is established with a start-up capital of 20 million and a plot land size of 50 hectares in Raya Ethiopia, in 1997 GC ( 2000EC ). The Farm is a modern irrigation farm with an installation of drip and sprinkler technology for the whole size of the land. The farm can produce the entire year without interruption because there is no problem or shortage of water. The farm owned a borehole that could discharge 50 liters per second which is enough to produce at total capacity. It has been working on producing Teff, Fruits, and Vegetables since the establishment of the farm.

After gaining ample experience in farming, it expands its activities in the other parts of Ethiopia, the Dawero Zone South region, and Gambela. It has been producing actively  Teff grains for export purposes and exporting them to different countries such as Israel, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands among many others. The company is mainly focused on producing its own products and exporting either as grains or adding some value.

In Ethiopia, there is a shortage of selected seeds. The company is going to add some efforts to contribute to minimizing the demand gap to some extent. It is also working on seedlings of fruits and vegetables from the selected seeds and good varieties
